The town announced that the Select Board will hold a public meeting to set water and sewer rates and receive feedback from the community on Tuesday at 6:10 p.m. at Town Hall. After review of the five-year rate plan, town staff recommends adjusting the estimated 9.5% rate increase for fiscal year 2024 to 17.5% for water user fees due to projected capital costs, and a 5% rate reduction for sewer use fees due to a projected substantial surplus in the Sewer Enterprise.

The Hopkinton High School boys tennis team saw its memorable season come to a close Thursday with a 4-1 loss to Duxbury in the Division 2 state semifinals at Lexington High School.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is Badger, a 7-year-old who “is very sweet and loves to be pet.”

Our latest Business Profile highlights Orale, a new restaurant on Main Street that serves authentic Mexican fare like tacos, enchiladas and flautas with beef, chicken or pork, plus beans and cheese as vegetarian options.
