Leading off Independent Thoughts, the Islamic Society of Greater Milford has settled into its new home on Elm Street in Hopkinton and recently hosted an interfaith meet and greet event that featured local dignitaries.
A Hopkinton man will appear in court on July 9 to answer to charges of allegedly failing to pay more than $467,000 in excise taxes between 2020 and 2022 related to a vaping business, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday. Ashraf Youssef, 61, was the owner of AAA Smoke & Vape Shop in Marlborough from 2020-2022, along with similar establishments in Sudbury and Whitinsville.

The Hopkinton High School unified track team wrapped up a strong 2024 campaign recently, with five team members earning spots in the state meet and helping the team to a 10th-place finish.
