by | Oct 11, 2024 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

After a spirited round of public comment from a packed room at the Hopkinton Senior Center Wednesday night, the Board of Appeals voted to continue the hearing on a proposed gas station at 290 West Main Street until Nov. 13.

On Wednesday, Vertex project manager Chris Eberly outlined the next steps for the Charleswood Elementary School project to the Elementary School Building Committee, which includes schedules and additional town and state oversight.

Hopkinton High School boys golf took on Westborough on Wednesday at the Hopkinton Country Club, and we have photos.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 10-year-old dog Kipper, a senior dog who is “a true gentleman who thrives on affection” and a loyal companion that would thrive in a quiet home.

Photo of the Day: A particularly strong geomagnetic storm makes an aurora visible in the evening sky over Hopkinton.
