Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The importance of the review process and implications of a ‘no’ vote on the proposed Elmwood School replacement building were among the issues discussed during Wednesday’s Elementary School Building Committee meeting.

The Hopkinton Public Library Foundation announced the funding of a series of free, drop-in gaming events at the library geared to local middle and high school students. The events are scheduled for the five early release dates at Hopkinton Middle School and Hopkinton High School, including today, from 1-4 p.m.

RazzMaTazz Entertainment presents an Indian Mela/Raas Garba event at the Hopkinton Center For the Arts this Saturday from 5-11 p.m. There will be live Garba music, Indian fashion/clothing, accessories, artifacts, jewelry, mehndi and face painting, and Indian food.

The Hopkinton Area Land Trust (HALT) will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 7-8 p.m. at The Sanctuary at Woodville. All members of HALT and the community are invited to attend.
