Hopkinton Today: Friday, Oct. 27

by | Oct 27, 2023 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Traffic and the cost of a proposed new Elmwood School were among the concerns of residents attending Tuesday’s public forum with the Elementary School Building Committee.

For the second time this year, the Communities at Golden Pond has been ordered by the state not to accept new residents after failing an on-site compliance review earlier this month.

The Trails Committee at its meeting Wednesday discussed having a community forum to educate dog owners about the town’s leash law and get resident feedback on potential areas where dogs may be able to be unleashed.

The latest Independent Thoughts touches on the Freedom Team’s “Difficult Conversations” program, the Tom McIntyre Turkey Bowl and more.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 9-month-old Harry, who “has a magical charm all his own.”
