by | Sep 30, 2022 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Domestic violence. Human trafficking. Gender inequality. Racism. These issues and others are the focus of the MetroWest Commission on the Status of Women, established in 2015. The commission, which includes some Hopkinton residents, is a regional offshoot of the state-level commission.

At its meeting on Wednesday, the Parks & Recreation Commission discussed current and potential Community Preservation Committee (CPC) projects and winter programming.

The Hopkinton-based charity Live4Evan is hosting an Octoberfest fundraiser this Sunday from noon-5 p.m. at Start Line Brewing on Hayden Rowe Street. There will be all-you-can-eat barbecue, music, friends and more.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 1-year-old Kodak, who is “one of the shelter’s most popular residents.”
