Hopkinton Today: Monday, Aug. 3

by | Aug 3, 2020 | Hopkinton Today, Z-Lead Image Front Page

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

The Hopkinton High School Class of 2020 graduation was held yesterday morning at the HHS football field, as the seniors finally got their chance to celebrate and say goodbye.

Eversource’s project to install a new gas pipeline through Hopkinton and Ashland hit a snag when a judge recently ruled against the utility’s plan to leave the old pipeline in the ground. The ruling was a victory for Ashland, where many town officials and residents oppose the project. Hopkinton, conversely, has not expressed any objection.

The town’s latest COVID-19 update includes information on the state’s new #MaskUpMA program along with an update from the Hopkinton Senior Center.
