Hopkinton Today: Monday, Dec. 4

by | Dec 4, 2023 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Parks & Recreation Commission at its Thursday meeting lauded the success of the first Skateboard & BMX Jam on Nov. 12 but learned that unforeseen delays will postpone the new skate park’s opening potentially until next fall. The new pickleball courts and cricket pitch improvements also are delayed.

This week’s Library Corner includes information on Pokemon play, SAT study sessions, drop-in family activities, Narcan training and more.

The Hopkinton Trails Club will host a walk on the Braim Farm trail this Saturday at 10 a.m. The trail is a pretty, somewhat hidden area with a lot to see.

Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6), Planning Board (7), Select Board executive session (7) and Woodville Historic District Commission (7).
