Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.
Brackets for the state tournaments have been released, and Hopkinton High School teams are making postseason plans. Boys and girls basketball and boys hockey will have their opening games this week.
The Team Hoyt Memorial Road Race will take place Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m., starting and finishing at Marathon School (129 Hayden Rowe Street). The event includes a 5-mile race, 2-mile walk and kids fun run, along with a virtual 5-mile run for those who cannot attend.
Registration is open for the 21st annual Sharon Timlin Memorial Event, which will be held at Hopkinton High School on June 15. The 5K road race and family fun day is a fundraiser for The Angel Fund for ALS Research.
Town meetings tonight include the Commission on Disability (7) and Board of Library Trustees (7:30).
