by | Jan 8, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The weekend storm dropped 9.5 inches of snow in Hopkinton, and we have photos.

The School Committee on Thursday viewed possible schedules for students in fifth and sixth grades at Hopkins School as part of a proposed education plan should an addition/renovation project receive Town Meeting approval in May.

The Open Space Preservation Commission at its meeting Thursday night continued to express frustration over the flawed conveyance process of open space land in development projects, focusing half of the meeting on discussion on the eight-unit subdivision known as Connelly Farms.

This week’s Library Corner includes a schedule update as well as information about an open video game play session, a presentation on birds of prey (featuring live birds), a children’s concert and more.

The Hopkinton Trails Club will hold its next monthly meeting this Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30), Sustainable Green Committee (6), Planning Board (7) and Commission on Disability (7).
