Hopkinton Today: Monday, June 20

by | Jun 20, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

On Sunday afternoon, a vibrant crowd of about 250 people of all ages gathered behind Hopkinton High School for the town’s second LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade.

The 19th annual Sharon Timlin Memorial Event, a 5K road race and family fun day, was held Saturday morning at Hopkinton High School. The event is a fundraiser for ALS research.

There will be no Main Street Corridor Project work on Monday due to the Juneteenth holiday. For the rest of the week (Tuesday through Friday) an eastbound detour will be in place at the intersection of Route 135 and Route 85.

Schools and town offices are closed today in observance of Juneteenth.
