Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that the two Fruit Street bridges will be closed at different times this week.

Leading off the Schools Notebook, a number of musical groups from Hopkinton High School and Hopkinton Middle School earned awards at the recent MICCA competition.

This week’s Library Corner includes information on Asian American Representation in Literature, Doughnut Story Time, children’s bathroom habits and more.

The latest Baypath Adoptable Animal is 1-year-old Toby, who “makes everyone he meets smile by leaning against them for pets and rolling onto his back for his favorite activity: belly rubs!”

The Hopkinton Chinese American Association and the South Asian Circle of Hopkinton are celebrating Asian American Heritage Month in May. On Sunday, May 19, from 9-10:30 a.m., the organizations will host Yoga, Tai Chi and Tea on the Town Common.

Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6), Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board (6), Planning Board (7) and Hopkinton Youth Commission (7).
