While the big news out of Thursday’s School Committee meeting was the decision to go to entirely remote learning the week after Thanksgiving, there were other important discussions. Among the items of note: The district is considering later start times in the future to allow students to get more sleep.
The RE/MAX Executive Realty Charitable Foundation’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors 5K Run/Walk is virtual this year, and it’s underway now. Participants can run or walk a 5K on their own anytime before Nov. 26.
The Hopkinton Health Department released a graphic with instructions for families with COVID-positive college students who are returning home.
The Hopkinton Garden Club announced Friday that its annual Holiday Greens Sale has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Town committee meetings tonight include Parks & Recreation (5:30), Commissioners of Trust Funds (6), Youth Commission (7) and Zoning Advisory Committee (7).
