Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is a special duo. Lola and Mumble both are about 4 years old and have been inseparable since meeting as puppies. Baypath had a wedding ceremony for them recently to celebrate their bond.
The Girls Scouts of Hopkinton are sponsoring Caroling on the Common on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 4-6 p.m. at the Town Common. This free community and family event will include children’s crafts and activities, the town tree lighting, caroling, a handmade gift sale, a Santa sighting, photo opportunities and the collection of donations of new pajamas for Project Just Because.
The latest Business Profile highlights Southwick’s Zoo, where the animals have been tucked away for the winter season but visitors are enjoying the drive-through inaugural Festival of Illumination and Winter Wonderland through Jan. 2.
Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30).
