During a three-hour meeting Thursday, the School Committee heard updates on the district’s capital plan, solar panel installations and the Marathon School addition. The committee also chose the construction manager at risk delivery method for the Hopkins School renovation project.
The Hopkinton Police Department issued a warning to the public after residents reported scam phone calls from someone purporting to be a Hopkinton police officer.
As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, crews will place loam in various areas and perform on-site cleanup.
The Hopkinton High School football team opened its season with a dramatic victory Friday night, on a touchdown in the final minute to beat Wayland.
The annual PolyArts festival took place Saturday at the Town Common.
Blooms, Brews & BBQs, a fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund, was held Saturday at Weston Nurseries.
The MetroWest YMCA Family Outdoor Center in Hopkinton will offer a class with instruction on how to canoe/kayak/paddleboard on Saturday, Sept. 16. Participants will spend on afternoon on the water at the Ashland Reservoir and learn some paddling skills from the YMCA boating staff.
Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6), Affordable Housing Trust Fund (6), Personnel Committee (6), Planning Board (7) and Woodville Historic District Commission (7).
