Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

In a decision announced Friday, the state’s police disciplinary commission lifted a suspension against former Hopkinton Police Sgt. Tim Brennan, allowing him to return to work as a patrol officer for the Milford Police Department.

Crews recently completed painting multiple mast arms — structures on which traffic lights are mounted — as part of the ongoing Main Street Corridor Project.

Director of Public Works Kerry Reed announced that Granite Street will be closed for paving from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. today.

The Hopkinton High School field hockey team played Dedham in its home opener on Friday, and we have photos.

Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6) and the Planning Board (7)
