by | Aug 15, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Modifications to the parking lot plans for the Charleswood School were among the topics of discussion at Tuesday’s Elementary School Building Committee meeting.

This week’s Police Log includes reports of a tractor-trailer hitting a stump on Winter Street and blowing out its rear tires, an individual throwing another person’s dog at the dog park, and an alert about a fire that turned out to be a prank.

With the start of the school year quickly approaching, the Hopkinton Police Department is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety of students, parents and staff with the launch of its Back to School Safety Campaign.

The Hopkinton Trails Club will host a group walk off Fruit Street this Sunday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. This will be a tour of the trails in the southern part of the Fruit Street trail network.

Town meetings tonight include the Playground Committee (6).
