Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
After her husband passed away in a car accident in May 2016, Hopkinton resident Kristen Pedroli had to navigate some unfamiliar territory. Realizing she could use some help learning how to deal with the emotional turmoil — along with suddenly learning to be a single parent of two young boys — she took a six-week course called Parenting While Grieving. She found it so helpful that she decided to start a similar program herself.
The newest Hopkinton COVID-19 update includes the latest on the vaccination schedule as well as information on the Hopkinton Public Library, which has extended its building closure to at least Feb. 1.
The current edition of the Police Log includes reports of an oven fire, a dryer fire, slashed tires and a horse defecating in the roadway.
Town meetings tonight include the Permanent Building Committee (6:30), School Committee special meeting (7) and Trail Coordination and Management Committee (7).
