Leading off the Hopkinton High School Sports Roundup, the boys and girls track teams capture league titles with Tuesday’s victories over Ashland. Also, the unified track team finished second at Monday’s sectional meet.

This week’s Police Log includes reports of an unauthorized tree-cutting, windows smashed on a vehicle and a road rage incident on Hayward Street.

Hopkinton’s Veterans Celebration Committee recently announced plans for Memorial Day observances on Monday, May 30. Ceremonies will take place at the cemeteries in Woodville and off Mayhew Street as well as at the Town Common.

Town meetings tonight include the Cemetery Commission (5:30), Commissioners of Trust Funds (5:30), Historical Commission (7), School Committee (7) and Trail Coordination & Management Committee (7:30).
