Letter to the Editor: LaFreniere for Select Board

by | May 12, 2022 | Letter to Editor

I have known Mary Jo LaFreniere for more than 20 years, and she has always been an active member in our community. So much that we currently take for granted in our town can be tied back to Mary Jo’s involvement.

She is someone who unites and unifies our town. She finds our commonality and is a builder of relationships,a not a divider. Her service to our town includes currently serving on the Select Board, she has also served as a Commissioner of Trust Funds and on the Tax Relief Committee. She has also served on the Marathon Committee. The list goes on (please check out her website … it’s a long list!).
What I most appreciate about Mary Jo is not just her dedication to our town, but her sincere desire to include and hear all of our voices. Mary Jo has seen our town grow and has given balance to this growth while preserving those things that makes our town special. She is unafraid of hearing your opinion and seeks to include all our voices.
Please join me as I cast my vote on May 16 for Mary Jo LaFreniere for Select Board.

— Connie Wright, Hopkinton
