Hopkinton Today: Thursday, Nov. 30

by | Nov 30, 2023 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Commission on Disability at its meeting Monday night voted 5-0 to extend the deadline for completion of the community survey on accessibility until Dec. 15 due to a low response rate. The commission discussed its upcoming public forum in January that will introduce the commission to the community, describe its mission and hear people’s concerns.

This week’s Police Log includes one arrest along with reports of a missing parrot, an individual stuck in an elevator in an East Main Street building, and a vehicle striking a deer.

Town meetings tonight include the Parks & Recreation Commission (5:30) and Veterans Celebration Committee (6:30).

Our latest Professional Insights from Edward Jones financial advisor Mark Freeman offers tips on how to avoid common investment mistakes.
