Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
Hopkinton once again played host to the start of the Boston Marathon, which returned to its traditional Patriots Day running for the first time since 2019. A total of 25,314 athletes crossed the start line, representing all 50 United States and 120 countries.
The latest edition of Library Corner includes information on the library’s new hours and details about upcoming programs.
This week’s Business Profile highlights Bert Rosengarten, who started treasure hunting as a teenager after joining his father’s antique business in the 1960s and now runs Bert Rosengarten Antiques.
Hopkinton Little League’s spring fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, May 13, from 7-11 p.m. at St. John’s Parish Hall. There will be food, drinks, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be used to improve fields and the overall playing experience.
Town meetings tonight include the Select Board (6).
