Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Hopkinton High School Robotics Team 2602G was named a winner of the Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation online challenge in the community award category for its work uniting the community through STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
The Hopkinton/Dover-Sherborn girls hockey co-op team closed out its season over the weekend with a dramatic tie, backstopped by senior goalie Kristin McCluskey, and a tough loss. The HHS boys hockey team, meanwhile, blanked Holliston.
The Hopkinton Women’s Club continued its annual Valentine’s Day tradition of assembling care bags to be donated to a local charity. This year the bags, filled with hygiene items, were donated to Compassion New England, a nonprofit based in Mendon.
Town meetings tonight include the Design Review Board (7).
