A tractor-trailer burst into flames Monday night on Interstate 495 in Hopkinton, and an explosion could be heard for miles.
Kaizar Rangwala and Jacob Dold, two Hopkinton High School sophomores, were named state champions in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition and have advanced to the national-level competition.
The latest College Honors highlights local students who were recognized for academic success at Fairfield, Quinnipiac, Endicott and many other schools.

HopSwap, an annual community-wide tag sale, will be held Saturday, March 18, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Hopkinton High School cafeteria. Donations can be dropped off on Friday, March 17, from 3-8 p.m. at the cafeteria.
