by | Jan 30, 2024 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

At its regularly scheduled meeting on Jan. 18, the School Committee publicly announced its intent to name the new elementary school building. Now, the committee is seeking community input.

The Parks & Recreation Commission at its Jan. 23 meeting began discussions on the use of the Town Common the week before the Boston Marathon, as well as weekend activities with local vendors.

The annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest will be held Tuesday at Hopkinton High School at the conclusion of the Ashland-Hopkinton boys basketball game (which starts at 6:30). All boys and girls ages 9-14 can participate.

Town meetings tonight include the Select Board (6) and Historical Commission (7).
