Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The town’s latest COVID-19 update shows a slight spike in the number of cases, with five reported since the previous update last Wednesday. There also is information about the next step in the state’s reopening plan, with restaurants allowed to serve indoors (assuming they meet certain standards).
The Planning Board met online last night, and much of the meeting centered on the Seaboard Solar array planned for the former Liberty Mutual property off Frankland Road. After discussion about a variety of issues related to the project, the hearing on the special permit was continued to July 13. The Conservation Committee meets tonight (6:30), and the same project is on the agenda.
The Parks & Recreation Department announced that registration has opened for the Junior Hillers Playground Group at Center School, which is the only summer camp program Parks & Rec is offering this year. Click here for more information.
