Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

For the first time in its history, the Massachusetts chapter of the American College of Cardiology will be governed for two consecutive terms by Hopkinton women, showing the increasing role of women in a traditionally male-dominated field.

This week’s Real Estate Transactions list shows six sales, five of which are well over $1 million.

The Hopkinton PTO Carnival, featuring amusement rides, carnival games and lots of food, returns to the Hopkinton High School parking lot from June 27-30.

Town meetings tonight include the Parks & Recreation Commission (5:30) and Conservation Commission (7).
