Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Hopkinton Republican Town Committee caucus will be held Wednesday, April 7, at 7 p.m., while the Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee will hold its caucus Friday, April 9, at 6:30 p.m. At the caucuses, the parties nominate individuals to run for positions in the Town Election, which will be held May 22.
The Hopkinton Women’s Club’s next monthly meeting will take place on Monday, April 12, at 10 a.m. There will be a presentation from club member and former FBI agent Margaret Bower titled “Women of the FBI.” New members are always welcome.
Registration is open for the 33rd annual Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. This year’s event will be virtual. Participants are encouraged to “Walk Your Way” from wherever they are most comfortable — for example, in the neighborhood, on a favorite trail or on a treadmill — on Sunday, Oct. 3.
Town meetings tonight include the Board of Assessors (5).
