Hopkinton Today: Tuesday, Oct. 13

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

Hopkinton High School’s soccer, field hockey and cross country teams opened their COVID-modified seasons over the weekend. There was some exciting action and, more importantly, no immediate health issues. Click here for a roundup, and check out our new schedule/scoreboard page as well.

The latest edition of Library Corner has information on the October-themed StoryWalk, reading programs for young learners and book clubs for different ages.

The latest edition of Senior Snippets features activities including a jigsaw puzzle swap, trivia and Halloween happenings.

The Hopkinton Women’s Club, celebrating 100 years, is selling hand-painted wooden multi-seasonal signs to raise money for its scholarship fund. Orders must be placed by Oct. 19.
