by | Aug 14, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Jeff Barnes, the longtime chair of the Conservation Commission, recently submitted his resignation for “personal reasons,” he confirmed to the Independent.

The Hopkinton Public Library announced it will open on Sundays from Labor Day through Memorial Day.

Greyhound Friends will celebrate International Dog Day on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with a gathering at the shelter for friends, neighbors, dog people and, most especially, dogs.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Appeals (7) and Trails Committee (7:30).
