As it turns out, the cow who made news last year after escaping from a slaughterhouse was pregnant as she lived life on the run up and down Ash Street. Harriet gave birth on Feb. 7 at her new home on the Varner family’s farm on Ash Street.
More information has been shared regarding Tuesday night’s truck fire on Interstate 495 in Hopkinton. According to Fire Chief Bill Miller, the trailer was empty. The noise people heard was from the tires exploding. The driver was not injured.
