Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Sustainable Green Committee at its meeting Monday night unanimously voted to submit an article for the expected November Special Town Meeting requesting that the town adopt a building energy code so that all new buildings will be capable of being heated and cooled by electricity.

This week’s Real Estate Transactions includes three sales, including another property at The Trails of Hopkinton.

The next Veterans Breakfast is this Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the Hopkinton Senior Center.

Greyhound Friends is inviting the public to meet the adoptable dogs at its kennel at 167 Saddle Hill Road this Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Attendees will learn about sighthound breeds and maybe take home a fast friend.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Appeals (7).
