Hopkinton Today: Wednesday, June 12

by | Jun 12, 2024 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

A little girl named Fiona got her dream playhouse, built like a castle with space for her to be a princess and even a bed for her pet dog to join in the fun. Making that happen were 14 members of the Habitat for Humanity club at Hopkinton High School who last month participated in Operation Playhouse Build with help from the organization’s MetroWest/Greater Worcester chapter.

Hopkinton Middle School English teacher Becky Abate was reelected as president of the Hopkinton Teachers Association on Tuesday.

This week’s Move In Style Athlete Spotlight shines on freshman golfer Reese Robledo, who “was eager to learn, practice and get better.”

The latest Senior Snippets includes information on the Senior Center Art Showcase, the Senior Center Variety Show and more.

Town meetings tonight include the Adaptive Playground Committee (6).

Photo of the Day: A colorful chalk drawing outside Hopkinton Middle School promotes the upcoming school vacation. The last day of classes is next Tuesday.
