Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

At Tuesday’s continuation of Town Meeting, voters supported a plan to connect to the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority water supply, approved new turf for the Fruit Street fields and rejected a proposal to take the forest behind 71 Frankland Road by eminent domain. For the second night in a row, Town Meeting was halted due to lack of a quorum. It will resume Wednesday night, with eight of the 53 warrant articles remaining. The most significant is the proposed tax increment financing agreement with Lykan Bioscience.

Leading off the Schools Notebook, almost 12 years after assigning Hopkinton High School seniors a time-capsule project, retiring English teacher Marie Martin wants to share these assignments with them and is looking for help tracking down the students.

The next monthly Veterans Breakfast is this Friday at the Hopkinton Senior Center and is sponsored by the Hopkinton Historical Society. Organizers will recall several past military events that happened on this date and entertain sports fans with baseball events from May 6.

Our latest Business Profile highlights the summer program at Kidsborough, with themes that cover everything from forensic science to Disney magic and kitchen chemistry.
