Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Kayla McCann has tackled numerous endurance events, including her first-ever Ironman triathlon in Lake Placid, New York. This month, she again will compete in one of the ultimate distance challenges at the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii.

Hopkinton High School girls cross country coach Jean Cann has tried to reassure her team that, should it qualify for the Meet of Champions at the tough Gardner course at the end of the season, it will be just fine.

The Hopkinton High School volleyball team will raise money for the Side-Out Foundation with its Dig Pink fundraiser Wednesday, when the Hillers host Ashland at 6 p.m. at the HHS Athletic Center.

This week’s Senior Snippets includes information on mat yoga, a Halloween magic show and costume party, a decluttering program and more.

This week’s Real Estate Transactions list shows four sales, including one for more than $2.5 million at the new Whisper Way development.

Town meetings tonight include the Hopkinton Climate Action Community Drop-In Event (6) and Select Board executive session (6).
