by | Oct 23, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Hopkinton Police Department on Tuesday announced that an individual who allegedly “displayed aggressive behavior” near a day care center in the Wood Street area over the weekend has been identified and contacted.

The Department of Public Works is asking residents to “refrain from unnecessary water use” due to low groundwater levels.

The Planning Board at its meeting Monday night saw an overview of the mixed-use development proposed to replace the former Hopkinton Drug building at 48-52 Main Street and a neighboring home at 6 Cedar Street.

The Board of Health spent its meeting Monday night focused on the Health Department’s budget for the next fiscal year.

This week’s Move in Style Athlete Spotlight shines on Hopkinton High School football wide receiver Nick Pedroli, who has five touchdowns through six games and is willing to step in to “any role needed of him by the team.”

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Appeals (7).
