Jim Noon, the 84-year-old Golden Pond assisted living facility resident who had been missing since Sunday night, was found “conscious and alert” at approximately 10:40 a.m. Tuesday lying in a wooded area a short distance from Icehouse Pond, the State Police announced.
The Planning Board met for nearly four hours Monday night in a marathon session where two contentious cases dominated the meeting. Several hearings were continued, including three regarding a Whisper Way development where land was slated to be conveyed as open space.
This week’s Real Estate Transactions list includes four properties, including two over $1 million.
The Hopkinton Historical Society will open its building at 168 Hayden Rowe Street to the general public on the first and third Saturday mornings of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, beginning this Saturday.
The Mental Health Collaborative Fall Classic golf tournament will be held Oct. 23 at Hopkinton Country Club. Activities include continental breakfast, golf, boxed lunch, cocktail reception, silent auction, awards dinner and live auction.
Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30).
