James ‘Ed’ McFaul

James “Ed” McFaul, 93

James “Ed” McFaul, 93, of Hopkinton, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2018. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Mary Louise (Rose) McFaul and James Francis McFaul. He was the husband of 37 years to the late Suzanne T. McFaul, who passed in 2003.

Ed held degrees from Boston College and Northeastern University. He had worked for Raytheon, loved history and genealogy and traveled to all 50 states. Ed was a member of both the Ashland and Hopkinton Historical Societies.  He enjoyed talking to strangers and was a member of St. John’s Church in Hopkinton. His family would like to offer special thanks to CareOne at Millbury and St. Vincent’s Hospital ICU.

He is survived by two children, Stephen McFaul and his wife, Moni of Millbury, and Denise Mossey and her husband, James of Grafton. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Madeleine, Nicole, and Connor McFaul and Emily and Joseph Mossey. He is predeceased by two siblings, Herbert McFaul and Rosemary DeNicola.

Funeral services and burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Hopkinton, will be held privately with family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Community Church, 146 East Main St. Hopkinton, MA. 01748. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
