ALL AGES PROGRAMS

Puzzle Race
Saturday, May 2, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Teams will race to complete the same 500-piece puzzle first. This program is appropriate for age 9 and older, and the maximum team size is six competitors. Registration is required, and only one registration form per team is needed. Those interested can contact Adult Services librarian Dan Boudreau at dboudreau@hopkintonma.gov with any questions.

American Girl Doll Tea Party
Saturday, May 2, 2:30-4 p.m.
The library will host an American Girl doll tea party as part of its celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary. Participants can bring their American Girl doll (or other dolls) for an afternoon of tea, light refreshments and American Girl/colonial-themed activities. Doll-matching outfits and tea attire are encouraged. This program is suitable for all ages; children under the age of 9 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible person age 12 or older.

ADULT PROGRAMS

Learning to Sew: Quilted Cotton Coaster
Tuesday, April 28, 1-2:30 p.m.
In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of quilting and make their own quilted coaster using basic sewing machines. This program is for age 16 to adult, and it earns participants a sewing machine certification that allows them to participate in more advanced sewing workshops. A signed CreatorSpace waiver is required for access. If the attendee is under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must sign the waiver prior to the event.

Zines: Make and Trade
Thursday, April 30, 6-7 p.m.
Reference and Technology librarian Ray will lead this CreatorSpace workshop all about zines. Participants will make and share their own zines with materials provided and will receive up to three copies of their zine to keep or trade. This program is suitable for age 15 to adult. A signed CreatorSpace waiver is required for access. If the attendee is under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must sign the waiver prior to event start.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

Thursday, April 23, 2:30-4 p.m.
Artist Julie Harrold will lead a painting class for ages 7-12.
