Plants as Muse: Mugwort with Nora Toomey
Tuesday, March 22, 7 p.m. (Zoom)
Mugwort, or Artemisia vulgaris, is a plant that is woven so deeply into the folklore and mythology of countless cultures around the world. It is an ancient plant, rich with story, magic and medicine. In this one-hour class, attendees will explore the imagery, deities, planetary rulings and magical properties associated with mugwort. Participants then will be led through creative prompts inspired by mugwort that will unleash their own storytelling, poem-writing or art-making power! Attendees should bring a notebook along with painting, drawing or collage supplies.
