Brooklyn Briner, who is studying biotechnology at MassBay Community College, was selected to participate in an experiential, lab-based program at Sanofi’s research and development laboratories in Framingham. During spring break in mid-March, Briner and seven of her classmates were given the opportunity to be “science apprentices,” learning about the techniques used to make a biologic drug at one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies.
