Main Street Corridor Project update: Amorello plans paving for west end of Main Street

by | Oct 18, 2025 | News

The town’s latest Main Street Corridor Project update released Friday details plans by Verizon and Eversource to coordinate with A.F. Amorello & Sons for paving.

A.F. Amorello & Sons was scheduled to be onsite this past week to begin curb and sidewalk work on the west end of the project. The construction company plans to complete final paving on the project’s west end at the end of October. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will perform inspections prior to final paving.

Weston Nurseries confirmed it has trees for Main Street. Amorello’s landscaping contractor intends to begin planting next week.

Finally, the town announced that driveways adjustments and repaving are planned for the entrance to 35 Main Street/Hoyt Way sometime this fall. Property owners will be notified when work is scheduled to begin. Adjustments to traffic flow from the Hoyt Way outlet will be necessary during construction.

Weather and other existing conditions may change the projected work schedule. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
