The town’s latest Main Street Corridor Project update released Friday shared that Eversource will continue to perform underground work during the upcoming week, with the exception of Monday’s Veterans Day holiday.

The town also is awaiting a schedule from Verizon to complete overhead utility transfers on the west side of the project.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing these tasks. This work may impact traffic and require lane and sidewalk closures, limiting access to driveways and entrances to businesses. Detours and alternating traffic patterns may be used as necessary.
