Marathon start times, road closures, starting area map

Marathon start area map

The 127th Boston Marathon is Monday. Roads surrounding the start line and Town Common will close at 6:30 a.m., and all other roads leading into the downtown area will close to general traffic at 7 a.m.

The following roads will be blocked off:
— West Main Street at Lumber Street
— Wood Street at Elm Street
— Hayden Rowe Street at Chestnut Street
— Ash Street at Blueberry Lane
— Cedar Street at Legacy Farms North
— East Main Street at every intersection

Additionally, all roadways adjacent to roads where runners spectators, volunteers and workers are located will be blocked.

Road are scheduled to reopen by 1:30 p.m.
