After a strong freshman season, Li continued his solid performances this year in the butterfly, breaststroke and freestyle events. HHS coach Blake Briner calls Li “one of the calmest, hard-working swimmers I have ever seen. He never misses a time or ever complains, and he always has a smile on his face when you say hello to him.” He joined three senior teammates on the state qualifying medley relay as the breaststroke leg.

Move In Style, sponsored by Custom Home Realty’s Laura Wauters, is a weekly Hopkinton Independent feature. Each week during the school year, we will highlight a different Hopkinton High School athlete, selected after consultation with HHS coaches.
