A center fielder and relief pitcher, Pedroli led the team through late April with a .562 batting average and has been “dominant in the leadoff role,” according to coach Matt Anderson, with two home runs, three triples and two doubles in 10 games. “He never gets cheated at the plate, taking aggressive hacks every time he gets up there,” Anderson shared. “He has also excelled on the mound as our closer, picking up saves against Dedham and Medfield.” Anderson indicated that Pedroli has “made tremendous growth since his freshman year,” adding that he’s “one of the most talented players I’ve ever coached, and he’s developed the work ethic to match his talent.”
