by | Jan 18, 2025 | News

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that overnight work on the Interstate 495 southbound on-ramp from Interstate 90 in Hopkinton will start Tuesday and continue through the week.

The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. MassDOT anticipates all work to be completed by Friday morning, weather-permitting.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured up to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) to reverse direction back to I-495 southbound.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.

For more information on traffic conditions, drivers can visit the Mass511 website, which features travel times and real-time traffic.
