Parks & Rec movies on Town Common start Thursday; Sunday concert series underway

Parks & Rec Thursday Night Movies on the Common series starts this Thursday at at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). The first movie is Disney’s “Encanto.”

The rest of the lineup includes “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on July 21, “Raya and the Last Dragon” on July 28, “The Mitchells vs. the Machines” on Aug. 4 and “Star Wars: A New Hope” on Aug. 11.

All movies are free. Check the Parks & Rec website (hopkintonma.myrec.com) for more details.

The Sunday Concerts on the Common series began this past Sunday with the Roy Scott Big Band. Next up is the Hopkinton Community Summer Band this Sunday.

Hot Acoustics will perform on July 24, followed by Electric Youth on July 31, Jah Spirit on Aug. 7, Jumpin’ Juba on Aug. 14 and Din Check on Aug. 28.

All concerts start at 5 p.m. and are free.
