The town’s Democratic and Republican town committees co-hosted a July 4 parade Saturday morning in partnership with the Veterans Celebration Committee to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary. The event began on Hayden Rowe Street and ended at the Town Common, where a panel of judges presented awards to participating floats. The morning also featured speeches from state Rep. James Arena-DeRosa, Select Board chair Shahidul Mannan and former Horribles Parade organizer Dan McIntyre.
