Police experience issues with non-emergency phone line

by | Feb 28, 2025 | News, Police & Fire

The Hopkinton Police Department announced Friday afternoon that it was experiencing issues with the department’s non-emergency phone line.

“If you need to reach the station for a non-emergency matter, please dial 508-497-3405,” the HPD wrote in a press release. “You may encounter a busy signal — if so, please wait a few minutes and try again.”

The department’s 911 line — for those experiencing an emergency — remained fully operational.

Update, 6 p.m.: The HPD announced that the phone issue has been resolved.
